If you are researching horimono on the internet and wonder why Horimono: The Japanese Tattoo is no longer online and free for all to view, you can thank these people above (among others) for carrying out various acts of copyright infringement and plagiarism such as claiming authorship of my work and/or republishing Horimono.net site content on the internet without acknowledgment or permission, or in a modified form. It must be stated that these people are only a tiny minority of the many visitors to this site; those small-minded folk who simply could not resist the temptation of taking something because it was clearly for free and using it either to make money (the first three in the list) or for their own self gratification or other reasons. I no longer care because it means I will just publish all my research in book format, but I think it is a shame that the selfish few spoilt it for the well-intentioned majority.
Special mention on this page must be made of Tattoo Publications' JimiTatu of Arlington, Texas USA. JimiTatu plagiarised the contents of this website and published them on his website DS Arts. In addition to claiming sole authorship and copyright of my research, the plagiarised work in question was published on the commercial website of his company, TPPI Productions. Recently the author of this website received a bizarre and somewhat ironic threat from JimiTatu of a lawsuit for 'libel and defamation.' Sadly many months have passed since and JimiTatu has yet to make good his garbled and ignorant threats of legal action, and in the unlikely event of this happening I must say I greatly look forward to humiliating him in court and showing him up to be the thief, plagiarist, liar and hypocrite that he is.
